Orienting Ourselves

Last weekend, we attended the adoption orientation for our Pride Courses. We start the six weeks of Pride courses next weekend (Sept 9th). It was a funny feeling as we completed this step. . . we’ve passed another step and we seem closer yet so far away. We did get a few questions we had answered. One of those was about beds and the homestudy. We will have to have enough beds for the number of children we plan to adopt before the...

X Games

Last month, we watched this guy Travis Pastrana do a double back flip on a motorcyle- like on purpose- way up in the air! It was the first one ever done and it was so wild!!! But, he knew he could die attempting it and that meant that he had to ensure his parents knew that he loved them and that he wanted to make sure that they knew he was happy. Are You Ready For That Airstream?

About Me

Welcome! Hi all! I live in rural East Texas with my husband. I'm passionate about telling our everyday and rather ordinary story through words and pictures here on my blog and on my digitally scrapbooked pages. Geek. Creative. Problem Solver. Traditional. Introverted. Those are all words that you might use to describe me. I love to have fun while stilling keeping it calm and simple.

My thoughts

I'm a huge believer in giving kids a camera. One, they can learn your frustration- when you don't want your picture taken. But more so because you can see the world through their eyes.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
