The Joy of Ordinary

When Live Stares You In The Face

So Monday, I was reviewing the TARE Website. . . see my link to the left. I found a a set of boys who were 2,3, and 4. To date we’ve submitted interest forms on two other sibling groups who are older. . . one child in each sibling group was 9 or 10. Most of the time DH will tell you that he really wants young children. Though, I know that he’s willing to adopt a child anywhere up to about 10- ’cause that’s the age of our nephew.

So, knowing that there would be lots of interest is children this young, I quickly fired off an email to DH to see if he were interested. His reply back went something like, “Now you’re making me want older children rather than younger ones.” Unfortunately his email back to me got translated into jibberish while in outerspace- I would have printed it! In the end we turned in an interest form on these boys. But, oh, the thought of three boys that young is nearly petrifying.
