Timing

Two weeks ago tomorrow we left for vacation and in between posts here and there I hope to share our trip with you.  It really was quite a trip to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.  It ended a week ago Friday as we drove home from Dallas. As we were driving home from Dallas and talking about how it really isn’t that far away, I heard a commercial for The Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk benefiting the Susan G Komen Foundation.  I can’t...

Welcome

Hi and welcome to my new blogging home.  I’m hoping to import my previous posts from an old blog but if I can’t, we’ll just move on from here. It’s 2009

It’s 2009! I’ve done alot of thinking about this year. It’s going to start with such a fun bang! About Me

Welcome! Hi all! I live in rural East Texas with my husband. I'm passionate about telling our everyday and rather ordinary story through words and pictures here on my blog and on my digitally scrapbooked pages. Geek. Creative. Problem Solver. Traditional. Introverted. Those are all words that you might use to describe me. I love to have fun while stilling keeping it calm and simple.

My thoughts

Just because there's a picture doesn't mean you need to scrapbook it. Because our time on earth (and even our scrapbooking time itself) is limited and we'll never have the time to tell every story, we pick and choose the ones we tell- we have to prioritize them to some degree. And, by telling the stories that matter rather than just ensuring some picture ends up in our scrapbooks, the stories that we do get the time to tell will be more meaningful.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
