Summer Vacation: Kansas

From Oklahoma, we drove to Wichita.  Wichita was one of our great destinations.  But, before we could get to the great, we made a memory I think we all could have done without. After we checked into the hotel, we started out ot go eat.  Only, we went the wrong direction and had to turn around.  Cody pulled down a side street and then into a driveway- just barely- to turn around and right the ship.  Well, the driveway belonged to some lady...

Summer Vacation: Northbound Oklahoma Edition

Summer Vacation: Northbound Oklahoma Edition

Last month, Cody and I picked up my nephew in Houston and headed North for a vacation.  We had a great time and I’m going to be taking several posts to share lots of pictures and a little bit of the things we did and saw on our trip. About Me

Welcome! Hi all! I live in rural East Texas with my husband. I'm passionate about telling our everyday and rather ordinary story through words and pictures here on my blog and on my digitally scrapbooked pages. Geek. Creative. Problem Solver. Traditional. Introverted. Those are all words that you might use to describe me. I love to have fun while stilling keeping it calm and simple.

My thoughts

You know the adage about how no one wants to see hours of slideshow of your pictures from the trip they didn't take. I think of it the same in terms of someone browsing my albums- they don't care to see all those shots either! They don't need to go through page after page after page of the same trip.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
